  How to change arms of minifigs
 
I bought a 6266, and a soldier came with the torso printing on his back. So I need to reverse the arms. I know that it is possible to remove the arms, but I have never done this before, and I don't know how... Is it a safe procedure? How it can be (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Paulo, You can just pull the arms off, they have a little socket on the end where it fits into the torso, you should be able to pull both of them off and re-insert them on the other side. Scott Sanburn (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Don't worry, it safe. I change arms all the time to get the look that I want for a minifig. The best way to do it is to leave the hand on so that you have more leverage. Turn the arm so that it is perpendicular to the front of the torso. Then (...) (26 years ago, 21-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) First, be sure to give the mini-fig some sort of painkiller... <grin> It works easiest if you turn the arm up towards the head, the arms will pop off easier that way. JG (of course, remove the ".nospam" to reply...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
