  Re: Classic scale building?

(...) Groovy, man. Peace and Love. No, I don't think you're pretentious at all. Or alone. (I am not a town/building person myself, so my opinion may not count for much) I think you build primarily for the esthetic value of the building - which is (...) (26 years ago, 13-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Classic scale building?

(...) I've "built" (virtually only) a 20 story building at the scale. (Easily expandable to greater height.) You can see some renderings at: (URL) Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Classic scale building?

(...) I've built some stuff on the 2 bricks=1 story scale. Not much, just some post-modern office buildings. The problem many of us face is that we only have parts to support building at the 5- or 6-bricks per story scale. Steve (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

  Classic scale building?

I was just wondering.... I know that most of you folks build on the minifig scale (5 brick high doors) using all those "wonderful" (sarcastic) minifigs. Is there anyone else who builds primarily on the classic scale (3 brick high doors - sort of the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: More pictures of the V8

John, That engine looks better all the time. Congradulations on your excellent model. The additional pictures sure enhance the details that you have put into this model. I really like the test stand, including the rollers to load the engine. Soo (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: 1x1 round plates in station

(...) Ouch, yes. That's embarassing. Teaches me to speak from memory. You are indeed correct (I'm going from brochure photos as well, but the 1981 German Trains brochure shows it very well). The prism held the round plates, rather than the holes in (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: And now for the most pointless thread of the week... :)

Mark Tarrabain wrote in message <36E5EAAA.32B97357@l....bc.ca>... (...) I built a stage for a open roof stadium music concert and used a bunch of the brick separators across the back of the stage. They were raised up high and projected out over the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: building problems

(...) Sounds fine to me. St. Miniscule's Cathedral :) (...) Looking forward to seeing that. While being cool sets, those Ninja sets are cool for parts. I plan on getting more. I hope to acquire Stone Tower Bridge soon. I might make my next several (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-99, to lugnet.build)
