  Re: Articulated, motorized space rover

Hi Bram! Grats on the new camera. You might want to use a tripod. I've noticed from using my Nikon that when I take a picture with no flash, the shutter stays open longer and the slightest movement results in blur. Those are some nifty wheels you (...)   Re: Articulated, motorized space rover

(...) Oh my oh my! That is a very cool model. Excellent looks, and it works! The combination of those two is what makes for my favorite models. Hey TLG! This would make a fine UCS entry for your new Mars series. (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Not me, but avery good suggestion. Does the RCX have enough outputs? I assume by a football table you mean the ones with the players on bars across it that rotate or slide across laterally? Of course if you were designing a robot to play in (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming, lugnet.robotics)

  Captain Ahnee and the Dipwads

This morning, I awoke to find a bunch of messages in my inbox. While this isn't unusual, the message from Dan Jassim was. In a nutshell, he's...well, you have to see it to believe it.   Re: Classic Space set design and building contest

I have few guestions regarding colors and parts. First, the colors. Did these pieces come in black in the Classic Space theme: 1x1 plate, 1x1 round brick, and 1x4 tile? When doing a part count, do the antenna style levers count as one piece? (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Soon, soon.....

Soon school will be over for a four day weekend and then I can start to make some pathetic creations (compared to yours)to cure my plastic craving...... ;) Great work man, your art should be in a museum! Erin -- (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Holy S***!

So, when do we get to see a life-size Death Star? ;-) Dave (whose jaw is still lolling on the floor) Eric Harshbarger <eric@ericharshbarger.org> wrote in message news:3A00506D.408E43...ger.org... (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: Mona Lego Mosaic

'Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, men have named you...' but only one can build her like that! Congrats on yet another ABS masterpiece. DaVinci would be jealous. I'll just sit over here with my creations that I can lift by myself. Sheesh! -Dave (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  RE: Articulated, motorized space rover

(...) Thanks! (...) Rear wheels, actually. Maybe front would have pulled the model better. Right now, it's driven by a worm gear, but the gears still slip sometimes! On linoleum, the wheels slip when they turn, so the vehicle doesn't move. On carpet (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Articulated, motorized space rover

Pretty cool stuff. I like the use of universal joints to provide power to the front(?) wheels so that the suspension can move the wheels up and down.
