  Re: Classic Space set 6888

(...) Since no one seems to have anything to say about the scans, I've uploaded some clearer pics of the images before they were "scanned". (URL) case anyone is interested, here's how I made the pics: I started by LDrawing the model and components (...)   Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

(...) If you don't like the colors, you might try hacking the model files to change the color values. There's a 0 COLOR meta-statement, which allows you to assign any RGB value to any color-code. This includes transparency and dithering treatments. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: St. Marks Cathedral

(...) Ah, ha, yes!! Paradisa Country Club <set:6418> indeed had such a pony in brown. I have one from my cousin's set. Those are probably pretty hard to come by, but worth a shot; those would probably work pretty well in that (amazing, may I note) (...)   Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

Nonsense! Build it full scale! :) That ought to bring out the true beauty of the building! Be sure to provide for the accompanying piazza so we can get the correct viewing angles ;) Build On!   Re: Classic Contest Entries

OK. Here's my first entry. This is the ship that TLG would never have made back then, but that everyone of us would have wanted... a fighter !   Re: new truck heavy load

(...) I'm not happy yet, but here's an idea. 6-wide bus. I put a 2x4x2 sloped common windshield on the left corner. The bus driver sits behind that. I fill the right 2-wide space with a pair of 1x2x1 thin wall: one is snapped on, the other is (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Is that going to be a soul-crushingly huge ship that pushes the boundaries of Todd's original piece count rules? I sure hope so. Make sure to tear it apart and build cool alternates while you're at it :) Adrian (who doesn't have the patience (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

  Re: Classic Contest Entries

(...) Here's my next entry (come on people, where are yours?) It's a Category 1 sized polybag (I moved my previous entry to Category 2, I decided it was just a bit too big) with 24 pieces. I decided to put all my entries on my web page instead of (...) (24 years ago, 1-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: "Colorized" version of St. Marks Cathedral

Yes - I think the reason I missed the color originally is that its pretty faded on the real building. Also, the colors are blended.
