  Re: Sneak Peek

(...) Ya, the tables have taken over our basement (picture the Sorceror's Apprentice in Disney's Fantasia and you know how my wife feels :) At last count there were 14 tables and I need to buy one more to serve as a work bench. Luckily there is just (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

Re: New Sculpture: Marvin the Martian

(...) Well I'll be darned. I thought I'd done a search and didn't see any other marvin sculptures out there, I guess I was wrong. (I still like mine better though, hehe) Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Sculpture: Marvin the Martian

Nice work again, Adrian. I have considered doing this one myself, but alas, not enough time. I know that another sculptor, Steve Coallier, has done one of his own: (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Before we all get too excited about the prospect of killing,Oops I mean getting rid of him, we must remember that we are not the the island with him.Lets keep him there and observe his effects on the mental well being of the other minifigs.   Re: New Sculpture: Marvin the Martian

(...) Hey, thanks. As for weight, I'd estimate it at maybe 10-20 pounds. The head is the heaviest part, and I could probably take it off and go weigh it, but the rest of the sculpture doesn't take particularly well to moving. The head is 4-6 bricks (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) *VERY* nice job there! I LOVE it, you captured the look and "spirit" of Marvin *Extremely* well. Working visor, Oh My! How heavy is it? Oh, and did I mention it's good and I like it? :^) Mike (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: New Model, MOC Fabuland Train

That's pretty neat. It has a very quirky appearance to it. It reminds me if Disney's Toon Town. What are you using as a motor? It looks like an old 4.5v motor (the large black kind with a chassis). However, it looks like you are using technic rods (...) (24 years ago, 10-Oct-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.fabuland, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Metro Terminus - Large Station project

(...) I have seen things online that are good & great. I have seen things that impress & inspire me. This station makes me want to quit creating with lego. (though I won't) Congrats! This is fantastic. -Jonathan (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: New Model, MOC Fabuland Train

(...) For starters, don't call it a train. It so far is a locomotive, without a tender. Good start though. Reminds me of those street trams gussied up to look like trains (Bournemouth has some which I saw on my walkabout this morning). (...) This (...) Hello fellow lugnetters, I have just built the Fabuland Express mkI (URL) is built on a 4.5v motor, with a Technic axle. It is 8 studs wide. The wheels are brown. (...) <Snip> Your station is awesome! Great details, great use for the trans-blue thin walls. I love the architecture.
