  Re: My best model yet!

I like this. The photography is really great. You need a good backdrop for your pictures to enhance the setting. Something spacey that will make your ship appear bigger. Keep them coming. -- Bob Fay The Shop (URL) wrote in message (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: My best model yet!

(...) Pretty sleek-looking! I like it, but I have to say that the 1200YF is still my favorite. Those large pod-shaped bulkheads on the "wings" almost look like cargo holds. Is it primarily a carrier for support fighters, or would it be more useful (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  My best model yet!

I just finished a new model last night. I't took only 2 days to build (not the whole days, I work you know ;) Anyway, I think it is my best yet. It inloved a lot of non-standard building with lots of angles and flipping the studs-up directions. I (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  LDraw parts in 16 colors...

Well, I don't know how long they'll be up there before someone notices the 80Megs or so they'll use (including the ZIP files) and I'll have to take them down, but check out: (URL) are uploading now, but won't show up until tomorrow's staging, (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Lego Computer

I've finally got around to starting on my computer case made out of Lego. I am leaving the metal case on and just making a cover for the sides, top, and front, so it can be removed to work on the computer. (URL) Tom Stangl, Technical Support (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Minifig Equipment Storage

A one-armed minifig torso would hold a tank/helmet combo nicely. The tank would of course go on the neck, and the one hand will hold onto the chin-guard of the helmet (from inside the helmet). This might be a potential use for Timmy torsos. -John (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Weird piece 4737

Classic space set Solar Power Transport has them in grey. I still have all four of mine. These are funky corner pieces, and I can totally see why they've not been reissued. I wish that the "pockets", the concave areas, were inside. It's hard to (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Weird piece 4737

The classified ad haul I've been going through today contained a couple of pieces I would call _really_weird_. They are number 4737 and the various element catalogs describe them as "Window 4x4x6 outward sloping corner". These are solid black so I (...) (26 years ago, 18-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

Re: Web site updated with new Antiv DS-9 Cruiser

Pretty cool ship. Too bad black is so hard to photograph. I am sure it looks better in real life. Maybe a lite color piece here and there on the upper deck would help the photo. Good job overall. Bob Fay rfay@we.mediaone.net The Shop (URL) Justison (...) (26 years ago, 17-Feb-99, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Attaching a chain...
