  Re: Fantasia

(...) Gee, there's an angle TLG's marketing probably never considered: "LEGO: Birth control without the Pill!" ;-) Sorry, that was probably a little inappropriate, but I just couldn't resist. ;-) Sam Wiley *who should be doing things other than (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fantasia

Eric, Just wanted to say that I think your model is fantastic. :-) It even got an "oooh WOW!" from my wife when I showed her, when the normal response is, "God! not another conversation about Lego!" Hehehe... I'd take that as a rave review. -Andy (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Fantasia

(...) Thank you. It took about 5 hours for the head alone (I had to redo several parts over and over) and another 5-6 hours for the body (the hands were the most difficult part and I still have to do some work on them). (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: My Lego Gundam in progress

(...) I have many influences for this thing first and foremost being Gundam Wing. Other series(s) include Zeta and double Zeta Gundam, 0079-0083, F91, Gundam X, and G-Unit.   Seven-wide vehicles

I've been playing a bit with making vehicles which are seven studs wide. Here's a sleek sports car: (URL) a Hummer-like vehicle. It doesn't look too much like a Hummer without the roof, but I found it too hard to incorporate a closed cabin... (URL) (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.build) !

  Fantasia

Following the presentation of the marvelous Stegosaurus by Henry Lim not long ago and some other very good Lego sculptures (Dilbert and al.), I thought I would give it a try myself. I created a temporary website until my final page is all done. You (...) (24 years ago, 18-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Some buildings

(...) Thanks. By "the second house" I assume you mean the wide 1 1/2 story one with the nice big porch and checkered walkway? I plan on doing at least 2 more and rendering a small street scene for my town of Legofield. Sort of like the old Datsville (...) (24 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Space Port - female astronaut?

  Some buildings

I just added a couple of pics to brickshelf of two different houses I've made. I made them strictly in LDraw as I don't have enough slopes for the roofs. I also left out the interiors, but you can't see that any way. The larger house has a (...) (24 years ago, 17-Sep-00, to lugnet.build) !

  Favourite minifig?

Mine is the female town minifig with red pants, and a red-white-striped shirt, and long red hair tied up at the back. That's my favourite! And, the classic space minifigs too, preferrably the yellow ones. --Tobias (24 years ago, 16-Sep-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
