Re: Preview of My Mecha Site!

Your site pretty cool. In fact I'm jealous since I'm trying to build my first mech right now and haven't quite got the hang of it yet. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: African American Minifigs

I think Lego is just trying to cut corners and save money. They are aimed at the younger audience, and all they do is get their parents to buy the latest hyped up theme. I think it would be a good idea though to have "Dark Skin Toned" minifigs, (...) (24 years ago, 6-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: African American Minifigs

I think that the 'equality' comment was incorrect. Color is not what denotes equality. Having one 'color' would mean superiority of that color. equality means everything is equal DESPITE things such as race. To show real equality among LEGO models (...)   Re: BIG Site Update!

Glad you like my "upgraded" site, Pat! Regarding a LARGE four legged mecha... Why? You already built the definitive version of a large, four legged mecha. Why should I compete with an excellent talent like you! ;-) But seriously, I want to see how (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) plans (...) A FOUR legged mecha? In tiberian Sun (A computer game) there is a four legged mecha called a mommoth Mark 2. That would be interesting to see. (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

One thing I always love to see is using pieces in unusual ways. I love the wrench used as a gunsight. Very cool. ~M (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Has anyone built a dumpster collecting truck?

I am going to be making an ldraw model of the red alert (its a computer game) harvester, which has arms similar to that on a dumpster collecting truck nad I need ideas. (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Karim! I was inspired to do this after I saw how you made your website 100% POV-Ray renderings and because I couldn't stand seeing those God-awful pictures of my "Owl" AG Transport Craft. I'm so happy that I inspire you to build more, since (...) (24 years ago, 5-Aug-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: BIG Site Update!

Thanks Nathan! The "Butterknife" was just me fooling around with a few pieces. I don't wanna do a mini-fig version because I don't have that many pieces, and I couldn't be able to render such a big model. You can always try though... (...)
