  Images of Civilian Space Freighter

I have posted some pictures on Brickshelf of a mini-fig scale freighter that I made. The project started from the desire to use the transparent UFO saucer sections as a windshield. The ship has one large cargo compartment that is accessed through (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build) !

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) Really? I recently (a few years ago) put my head up to the muzzle (good thing it was parked and unloaded, eh? :-) and it was *totally* huge. 20 or 30mm per barrel is probably close, but the cannon assembly is much bigger. The 2x2 would (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) The Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt II's primary gun is the General Electric GAU- 8/A 30-mm cannon. And Mark is correct, it does have 7 barrels. The A- 10 "Warthog" is also capable of carring up to 15,950 lbs. of weapons. The aircraft's FAC load (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) It's a 30mm with seven barrels. But I agree the technic pulley would be too large. sometimes I make gatling cannons with a 2x2 turntable, and a couple of 2x2 round plates with a handful of 1x1 cylinders to simulate the "barrels." you only end (...)   Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) Wouldn't a cannon made from the 3x3 medium technic pulley be a bit too large for minifig scale? How about simply using a single black technic axle? It doesn't have six edges, but it has four, which may give the correct impression. Or have I (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Most hated Minifig?

(...) I must have a battalion of Willas. I bought 30 copiues of the Fright Force alone when it was on sale to build up my medieval army. It's not the crystal ball, it isn't the hat, it isn't the body, it isn't the broom. It's that head! One or two (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: My Capital Ships! AT LONG LAST!!!!

Well I apologize Josiah, I truly am sorry. And I just have a different opinion of the US army than you. I apologize to you and to Rick, you two should have all the freedom to post whatever you like, I'm not to judge whether a model is good/bad, it's (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

  Old Style Diving Helmet

There has been lots of talk of people doing an Atlantis Adventurers subtheme, so I thought I'd contribute to what people are planning. I have decided to do a Bermuda Traingle subtheme layout, and as you probably already guessed by the title of this (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build)

Team USA 1999 Women's World Cup Soccer Champions

I finally finished the Team USA Jersey details for the 1999 Women's World Cup Championship Soccer Team.   Re: Site Update - 3 Micro-Fig Models

Mladen Pejic wrote in message ... (...) Any chance you'd consider making minifig-scale versions? Not that there's anything wrong with with the micro versions, they're great, but minifig versions would be spectacular, especially the gunship! Cheers, (...) Uh, uh, ouch. Looks like you two should both take a deep breath and let it out... sloooowly... no reason for bashing each other, really.
