Re: My Capital Ships! AT LONG LAST!!!!

(...) the first and last ones - they are just long tubes with a bridge on the top. I know in space you don't need the maneuvering fins, but they make the Lego model look "cool", don't you think? Just my opinions. ~Drew "Luke" Lawrence (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) YES --- a main reason why I'm working with this model (besides the fact I love the air craft). (...) Yep. Yep. It's definitely going to be the back half. The front part is what I'm really having problems with. (...) The UCS x-wing has some (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

Re: Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

(...) a (...) Short of throwing together a few sketches of some of the body parts, I haven't gotten very far with a minifig-scale version. A few thoughts: Due to the relatively blocky shape of the A-10, it should be easier than most fighters to (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

  Re: Mecha Legs

"Why do you call me Mladen, my name is Project 2501, I am a being made from the deeps of the internet, my goal is to collect information on LEGO and make an infinite number of astounding LEGO creation..."   Building the A10 Thunderbolt "Warthog"

Well beyond a microfig scale A10 I cannot find any other folks who have built a minifig scale version. Has anyone built one and has pictures? I'm off to build one myself but just wondered what the competition has? - Marc (URL) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general)

(...) Mladen, you're getting way too good at this. It can't be good for your health :) (BTW, have you built those legs IRL? Do they hold up well?) --Bram (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Most hated Minifig?

(...) I didn't have any Willas until I found a couple at a garage sale last month - now I wish I had all those multiples! (...) No! No! No! It's all compensated for by the proximity of the doohickey coil. ~Mark XFUT: off-topic.fun (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

  Re: Most hated Minifig?

(...) Agreed - but it's the mixture that makes it yet more gruesome. (...) Yes. Definitely. I must say that I currently only have one of the sewn-on-eyepatch face so I did come up with a good backstory on it... but in general I hate it. And (...)   Re: Most hated Minifig?

(...) dont (...) Ah, just have a big pile of dead dissidents in town, for an example to others! (J/K, folks! I have a pile of skeletons on top of my monitor at home!)   Re: Most hated Minifig?

(...) Heh. Willa's not so bad, if you replace her face with that of the Ice Planet babe, or the Adventurer gal. Her witch face certainly is annoying. It ranks up there with ugly scowls on the gunfighters and the gruesome sewn-on-eyepatch-face from (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)
