(...) Thanks. One thing that I've found very useful for mech construction lately is the vertical-horizontal technic beam relationship. I used several variations of it on both the "Sasquatch" and "Blackjack" mechs at the feet, knees, elbows, (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

I consider myself a purist so I usually would abhor any cutting of these sacred pieces of plastic, but this is one of those pieces that I am just puzzled by(I am specifically refering to the double ball joint part (...) (...) I found that the Adventurers Egyptian line of Legos is a good source of beige pieces, especially #5938 Oasis Ambush. Normally, I would be aghast at cutting a Lego part. But since the Throwbot shooter arm is a SPUD, I think I can forgive it. ~Mark (...) to (...) family (...) yet? (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
