Re: Starship Bloopers (Was Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.))

(...) When you lose the armour, you lose a big part of the storyline--the corporate angle--right? It was half the book, forcibly extracted. But in its own right, it was entertaining, if only as a parody of "gung-ho" war (sort of like ID4). (...) As (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Znap with bricks, for tall buildings

Hi, Znap came to a nearby TRU so I bought the 3510 polybag to check it out. I wonder about using Znap for a skyscraper skeleton. Does anybody have a working scheme for this? Below are some of my thoughts so far. Why do it? Load-bearing brick walls (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.town, lugnet.build)

Re: Site Update - XRQ Experimental Hard-Suit

Those blue cylinders on the arms aren't weapons, or do you mean I should add weapons to the arms? Anyways, thanks Pearson, although I don't want to add weapons to the arms cause then the model will look too, too, as M.P. (thats me!) puts it (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Site Update - XRQ Experimental Hard-Suit

Very intresting approach. I like the way you used the minifigs neck for the entire backpack- by looking at it you could sware it was connected to the legs. Weapons couls use work on the arms though, otherwise, a flawless model! Once again, good job! (...) (24 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Starship Bloopers (Was Re: Colonial Marines minifigs (Was: I have a question.))

(...) It was just all too phony for me, the way they all just chased the bugs around like a youth soccer team, then how they got pinned down in that fort like the Alamo. The hordes of bugs did look good, though. The landings were just boring. When (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.space)

Re: New Mecha - "Parasite" Tank Mecha

Thanks Paul, I too wish I had all the coloured elements I use in my MOCs, I'd be *so* happy if I could build the White Tiger in its LDRAW colours not in my cruddy, black/grey scheme. Thanks again! (...) (24 years ago, 13-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
