Re: New Mecha -- "Maniac" Special-Tactics Mecha

Thanks ya'll! Yeah, the mecha's detail is kinda hard to see, but I guess that's a sign of complex building methods. ;-) I'm sorry Pat, I don't wanna do any more pics, too tired. ;-) I do however highly recommend downloading L3Lab and downloading my (...)   Nano-fig size cap-ships

Hi, I am interested in Nano-fig sized capital ships. I am in a rut right now with my ideas. I am looking for original pics/LDRAW files to spark my imagination. I have been to Karim Nasser's Pallas Spaceworks and am interested in the bridge designs. (...) (24 years ago, 6-May-00, to lugnet.build)

  H:Masters unveiling.

Has anyone out there ever built Transformers-based minifigs? I've established a town/space theme based on the Autobot Headmasters. Although I have Spike, I used a Blacktron I figure as the commander of this team. (Should I find it again, "Mayor (...) (24 years ago, 5-May-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

(...) in this design. I also like the bulldozer. But those beams on the side of the tracks look a bit bulky. Perhaps it would look cool with a rounded beam in stead? On the other hand, bulldozers are bulky! ;-) Fredrik (24 years ago, 5-May-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) 'Kay, here 'tis: (URL) forgot to mention, BTW, that the idea for the chess set came from Todd's chess sets on fibblesnork: (URL) was the first lego site I ever visited, and somehow it popped into my mind when I got <part:4588>.   7 new models at Kyle's Universe of Lego

I have finish uploading over 25 pictures for 7 different new models. These will be held on this preview page untill I have finished making the pages for each individual model.   Re: 8001 Battle Droid - Mini Review

Ralph Hempel says... (...) If you haven't yet tried it, get the 8002 Destroyer Droid as well. 8001 is good, but 8002 is simply amazing. The mechanism by which everything unfolds is intricate to a degree not equaled in any other TLG set, except maybe (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

Re: Construction equipment spotted on Brickshelf

(...) Oh, sweet. I like the bulldozer, too. And Ralph's comment about them being under 200,000 pieces and having "vroomability"...what he said. :-, Cheers, - jsproat (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Anyone want hinge bricks from Lego Direct?

I want to build the Matthews Flat Iron Building! :) There are lots of 'flat iron' buildings, named so for their shape. There is a little one here in Columbus, Ohio, but I have seen them in lots of places. I recall one in downtown Fort Worth that was (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.build.arch)

RE: Construction equipment spotted on Brickshelf

(...) Ahhh, cool. It is not necessary to have 200,000 pieces to build some of these little vehicles. The nice thing is that the have a rather high "vroomabnility" factor, which makes them fun for kids and grown ups. Cheers, Ralph Hempel - P.Eng (...) (24 years ago, 4-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: How about a BASIC building contest?

(...) Since I don't live in the US, I thought that a web based contest would be the best way to go. Sort of like the IRTC competition (www.irtc.org).   8001 Battle Droid - Mini Review

I'm not crazy about the Star Wars LEGO - at least not the Episode 1 stuff. Most of that feeling has to do with the fact that I was disappointed in George Lucas's vision that he had 20 years to develop. I thought the movie stunk. Anyways, I was out (...)
