You're too kind Pat! I would certainly enter such a contest, if you were willing to organize it.   Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site!

Nice work Mladen! You're site is enormous with quality models! Judging from the amount of high quality mecha MOCs being shown it might be a good time for a Mecha design contest! I don't have any real interest in running it, but I would love to see (...) (24 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site!

Thanks a lot Jeremy (and Mark, and Bram)! My favourite addition to this mecha was the stunstick, which is standard issue equipment for the Police Labors (i.e. Mecha) in _Patlabor_, I just wanted to through that obscure piece of info to ya'll!   Re: The Eastern Invasion Is Here !!

Wow, what a piece of work! I'm not building on quite the scale you are, or the authenticity, so I quite respect what you've been able to accomplish here.   Re: "Cobba" Mecha

(...) I gotta say, that was quite an experience--I hit the link and my senses were presented with what must be the oddest looking piece of mecha I've ever seen 'round these parts.   Re: New "Grunt" Mecha Added to Site!

Yeah, all of my mecha have entry hatches. I was going to do a pic of the inside but I was getting very tired and just wanted to put it on the net. Mladen, I noticed your mecha has a door on its back. Do any of your other mecha have entry hatches? If so, I'd like to see a picture of a pilot entering or sitting in the cockpit... just one of those "RL" touches that I think are neat. ~Mark (...) (24 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

How about a BASIC building contest?

I've had this idea for quite a long time, and now I've found the build.contests group so I can share it! I'm thinking of a BASIC building contest.
