Re: "Deathstrider" Droid Host Unit and a centipede

Hello Todd, BS is up again! So I could check your gallery. Those are two very nice bionicle creations. The centipede is my favourite. It looks like something I didn't like to encounter. (URL) Marco> (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Olympus Defence Mecha

Hi Mark, like all your creations this is a pleasure to explore. Lot's of fine details. The color scheme is fantastic. I saw some brickfest pics on flikr and asked who built this. Was just because I didn't think you did something that big again. The (...) (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) I think we're seeing another server prob. Checked other pics on the BrickShelf recent page and folders read "empty" too. Adrian (15 years ago, 8-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha)

"Deathstrider" Droid Host Unit and a centipede

I've been thinking for awhile that a mantis-like creation would fit in well with my Vedraan Empire sub-theme of Silicon Psyche. Check out the "Deathstrider" droid host unit- (URL) the past few years, I've accumulated a lot of metallic Bionicle (...) Nice Mark, true to your style, there is a lot of tiny details in the most hidden places! Good to see your creations again in your photostream. I really dig the front end with those almost spider like eyes. Eric (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Tank truck

(...) Love it! A gorgeous design that nicely evokes the real vehicle, and it just plain looks great. I love the overall lines, specifically the angled front and in the side windows. A great little MOC! Dave! (15 years ago, 7-Apr-09, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Re: Custom Brick Community Building Contest... starts today!

(...) <snip> (...) Wow. Wow. I've been needing motivation to build something recently, and this just may do the trick. Also, thank you very much for posting this on Lugnet! Hopefully it'll generate a good amount of traffic here. And the prizes sound (...) (15 years ago, 2-Apr-09, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Tank truck

(...) Thanks. (...) That's correct. (...) It's a possibility. But not sure it will strengthen the structure, as the main issue is that the panels are only connected by the 4 top studs. Just waiting for a 6x6 round plate now :) Erik (15 years ago, 31-Mar-09, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

(...) snip (...) thank you for your kind words! the paned glass is the glass from some of the harry potter sets (URL). it's a great piece but sometimes you have to hide the painted detail at the bottom of it. -§ deborah §- (16 years ago, 28-Mar-09, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: "Wasp" Droid Host Unit & "Versus" section @ Brickshelf

(...) Thanks, Eric. As far as I know, the cheapest way to get those new ball joint elements is to buy the red or blue mid-sized Glatorian sets.   Re: new mocs: doorway studies 5-8

(...) As always, your designs are wonderful, Deborah! I particularly like the baronial doorway. Very clever use of elements, like the rock halves as planters and the just-barely fanned out elements in the transom. What parts are you using to get the (...) (...) Some very tasty ideas to borrow here. Very nice! I am trying to get away from using Lego doors and build them myself in a similar manner that you have. Best, Jonathan (16 years ago, 23-Mar-09, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
