  Lego artist needed

Hello, I work for an event planning company in Philadelphia and we are in need of an expert Lego artist for an event in Orlando on February 25-28. We are looking for someone to construct either a 6'x4'x2' bridge or a giant seashell (approximately (...)   Re: tiny house (half timber) and child

(...) Thank you, George! Maybe it's good to clarify, though? Hillel's daddy is my husband Allan. David is a kind benefactor who remedied my inept posting of non-active URL links. Judy (17 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: tiny house (half timber) and child

A beautiful small house! Has a great 'cuteness' quality to it which is so hard to achieve... Congrats on the building and more importantly your child! God Bless, Nathan (17 years ago, 24-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: Model submissions want for Military LEGO modeling book!

UPDATE: I was forced to postpone a lot of work on this project for several months due to personal reasons. However, I am now back on track to completion within the next several weeks. This message is to let people know I still have room to include (...) (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: tiny house (half timber) and child

(...) Judy, David, That house is adorable, nice use of the Technic parts as gingerbread. I bet your son is more adorable though, congrats, George (17 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Thanks for sharing this MOC again, Eric. It's always good to see the full range of poses a MOC can achieve. I find (URL) this pose> particularly striking, although I wonder if it would look more dynamic with the right arm up a bit higher (is (...) (17 years ago, 21-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Square with fountain - WIP

This is still not the "final product", I just connected my slightly rebuilt church to the park. There are some odd-color pieces I will change. (Mosty fences.) I have more people, vehicles and plants - I just did not heve them here at the moment. But (...) (17 years ago, 20-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Tiny Cartman Mosaic, mostly from set 6163

I was bored yesterday, and decided to finally put my recent clearance purchase (set #6163) from Target to use, making a (small 16x16) Eric Cartman Mosaic: (2 URLs) All the pieces (except the tan pieces) are from the 6163 set. I didn't even have (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Re: How to color a source image for building a mosaic?

(...) Hi Maarten, Many thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately, I'm no programmer, but I think that it would be possible to perform the calculations you describe in a spreadsheet, if provided with the RGB values for each pixel in the image. I do (...) (17 years ago, 18-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

I got a chance to take some more photos of the Grelnix. I also learned a bit about how it can be posed, check out the photos: (URL) to visit the main Gallery>> (URL) Eric Sophie> (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: How to color a source image for building a mosaic?

(...) Tony, I don't think there's any kind of software that can do just that for you; you'll need some programming skills to do it yourself: Just suppose you want to make a grayscale mosaic --> 5 colors --> 20% of each color. Calculate the "degree (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

How to color a source image for building a mosaic?

I am planning a mosaic and have parts in 6 colors (an equal number of 1x1 squares in each color). I'm trying to convert my source image (using Photoshop) into my 6 color in such a way that the source image contains an equal number of pixels of each (...)   Re: Grelnix

(...) Thanks for the comments on the Pitbull, E! The wraith I was referring to is this one. (URL) you can tell, this would be a bit more difficult to do justice to. -Jon (17 years ago, 16-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Hey Jon, thank you checking out the Grelnix. As your collection grows, you'll be making bigger and bigger mechs too! About the Wraith, I checked online and I found a few different ones, so I am not sure which one you mean. Is it this one: (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Mech, The Pitbull

Hey this is really cool! You did great with all those wedge plates and the colors. I like me some Omni Mech, so this is very good to me. The way you mounted those guns around the front of the mid section is a nice touch. Good to see what you made as (...) (17 years ago, 15-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) -snip Lookin good, E ! In answer to your question posed in your last post to me, I gave it a lot of thought, I think the Wraith would be a challenge to build, not sure I'm up to it yet! -Jon (17 years ago, 14-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New Mech, The Pitbull

Hello all, Just finished my newest mech last week, The Pitbull. I promise, this will be my last yellow mech for a while! It is the latest creation of Clan Coyote. There are five variants, I have pics of three of them below. Variant A (URL) C (URL) D (...) (17 years ago, 14-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce.moc)
