  Re: Keeping Your Priorities Straight!

(...) hehe. I got the set for Christmas and after a brief period helping my kids build their sets, tore into this one. Showed this to my wife yesterday and she thought it was brilliant. She also commented that my Lego building hadn't quite got to (...) (17 years ago, 9-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: Gla Gla's Lego König Monster (looking for pictures)

(...) Thanks. I have those images already. I was hoping to track down someone that had saved all the original brickshelf images. Carl (17 years ago, 8-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - David Joins the Philistines

(...) Hi, Bruce. Thanks for taking out some time from the holidays to comment. (...) <snip> (...) I forced myself into a corner on that one. It's the chance you take using a relatively rare color like dark blue for a minifig's outfit. I would (...) (17 years ago, 8-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Gla Gla's Lego König Monster (looking for pictures)

Hello, I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this in the correct location. Back in 2004 Gla Gla posted pictures of his Lego König Monster on Brick Shelf. Sometime in 2005 he closed his account. I've been able to locate most of his pictures in the (...) (17 years ago, 7-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sliding Puzzle - NOTW Logo

(...) The removable piece and the fact that this is a working puzzle is just plain cool! (...) This is a really cool MOC. I hadn't seen anything like this before and I really like the idea. I always love seeing the ways that people find to (...) (17 years ago, 5-Jan-08, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Grelnix

(...) Impressive work as always! Good to know that (URL) rumours> of your retirement were a little exaggerated. Spotlighted. Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (17 years ago, 5-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX) !

  Sliding Puzzle - NOTW Logo

I really enjoyed this post about mosaic kits and a LEGO sliding puzzle design: (URL) As a Christmas gift for my daughter I built a slightly larger sliding puzzle design which completely covers a standard square green baseplate. Since she will (...) (17 years ago, 5-Jan-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX)

  New Small Train Station MOC

Hey there all you train-heads! I finally got around to doing another train MOC while I had some time off over X-mas. I went for a small train station like you might see in a little town in Europe. I did a bunch of image searching on the web and (...) (17 years ago, 4-Jan-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, FTX) !

  Another folding house (WIP)

Hi all, some of you might remember my first folding house: (URL) Now I'm building another one (just the front wall for now): (URL) The two golden tiles at the bottom of front door are brass stripes actually present at the bottom of some old doors.   Re: new moc: water tower house

(...) well, i'll be sure to point out your comment to this person. i'm sure he's chuckling right now if he's reading this, as am i. not to worry, i didn't take him seriously. but thank you anyway. there is of course the possiblity that he may have (...)   Re: new moc: water tower house

(...) How could anyone even hint that you are repetitive. I wish I had the ability to design just one of your items. If I did, I think I would sit and do it over and over. you have a real flair and your stuff is excellent. John P (17 years ago, 2-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: new moc: water tower house

(...) yes, this curve has been used for a while. i first played with it in (URL) 2001> and i've seen some afol's doing great things with it. i've also used it to teach some interesting math concepts to my students. but the most fun is making (...)   Re: new moc: water tower house

(...) no worries, i took yours as a compliment! the wink was meant for someone else who has said my style may be a bit too recognizable (read: repetitive) but i took it with the grain of salt that it probably was meant to be. -§ deborah §- (17 years ago, 2-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: new moc: water tower house

One word: A-maz-ing ! I've seen this way of curve construction before, even tried it myself (it comes as a logical conclusion to having an abundance of 1*2 bricks around for no particular use) but I couldn't imagine something so architecturally (...)   Re: new moc: water tower house

(...) ooo, not implying a rut at all. Meant as a compliment. There are few builders that have a reconizable style in my opinion. You are one of them. I think it is a great quality. (...) You too! Jonathan (17 years ago, 2-Jan-08, to lugnet.build.arch, FTX)
