Re: The Brick Testament - Civil War, Polygamy, Murder, Decaptitaion, and Mutilation

Hi, Harvey. (...) Thanks. Most of the water is actually sideways blue bricks in these stories. I can't take credit for being the first to use that technique (not sure where I first came across it), but it really can make for some nice effects, (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - Civil War, Polygamy, Murder, Decaptitaion, and Mutilation

Reverend, your use of the blue tiles and lighting to represent water is superb. Keep on cranking out those stories, as this is by far the most entertaining version of the Bible yet. -HRH (17 years ago, 26-Sep-07, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Vignette - A Hard Day's Fight - INTERACTIVE!

Sir Taindeath was weary after the day's battle - no matter how many evil skeletons he killed, there always seemed to be more. (...) Gianluca, I think that's an incredibly clever idea. I also like your use of inverse slopes as curtains, it's very good looking. Thanks, George (17 years ago, 26-Sep-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  MOC: the folding house

Hi, here's my latest ides: a foldable house. Why? To allow easy transport and fast assembling when you have to show it to legoshows. Just one move, et voila it's ready. t(5 URLs) Let me know what you think, Gianluca (17 years ago, 26-Sep-07, to lugnet.build, FTX) !!

  Re: My Military Vehicles

George, Thanks for sharing! You've got some neat stuff, and it must be nice to have access to all that "olive green brick" :) I like your vehicles - the APC and armored car both look very nice and the choppers are all rendered very nicely in "Lego (...)   Torture Chamber - a Castle Vignette

Knocked unconscious during the attack on his patrol, the warrior awakes to find himself chained upside down in the deepest darkest part of the evil Wizard's castle.   Re: Last Stand - a Castle Vignette.

Superb photography on this nice vignette. It makes a great desktop wallpaper (thanks!). So few MOCs are ever captured from the ground-up view when it can, as shown here, provide for some really dramatic effects. That's the most frightening I've ever (...)
