  Re: Boiler idea

(...) Tim, How about using 1x1 with studs on 4 sides in the corners and 1x1 headlight bricks on one side (stud of 1x1 with 4 studs to the back of headlight brick) for connecting the plate with tiles.. You would have to alter a few connections when (...) (17 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Boiler idea

Hi all, Just playing around with a boiler concept. You could replace the headlight bricks by 1x1 technic bricks with plates to join the four segments but I kind of liked the look of the segments done this way ;) (2 URLs) MPD> Couple more pics in my (...)   Studs Up Studs Down

Always had to choose between studs up or studs down in building a roof structure. Studs down mostly if interior shots were to be taken and studs up if exterior shots were more important. Finally managed to get the best of both, Studs Up Studs Down (...) (18 years ago, 31-Mar-07, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: 5-wide containers

(...) Why not just use plates with eyes ((URL) If you jumper offset them and invert the lower one it can be quite compact. Tim (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.schleim)

  Re: 5-wide containers

(...) I had pondered such a thing for doing an 'X' in 2-stud lettering, but it would be quite wide with the necessary supporting plates in the centre. Jason R (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

  Re: Moonbase Hobo Vignette

It's the perfect use for monorail track for those who only own 1 single piece. I enjoyed the response to the flickr person who asked what it was made of. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (18 years ago, 29-Mar-07, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.space, FTX)
