(...) [reply on behalf of Tobias Reichling] Hi Jordan, this paper exists in a German version only, and due to the size of this document (more than 50MB as .pdf file) it is not available for download. best regards, Jan (on behalf of Tobias) (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: RAAF Boomerang - wow! real bricks

(...) That's a very smart design. I like the way the cockpit glass is done. Still, if you'd asked me yesterday I would have said it was impossible - but if anyone was going to actually run out of digital bricks and have to resort to plastic ones to (...)   Re: Great window idea - not mine

(...) That's the back of headlight bricks though isn't it? I think even TLG have used them before. It was my mistake though... I should have said "bottom" not "back". Tim (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.schleim, FTX)

Great window idea - not mine

(URL) The back of 1x1 bricks do make really neat small windows. It's such a simple technique but so effective. I know I'll be using this if the opportunity ever arises. Tim (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.schleim, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: ED-209

(...) I loved it too, but I saw it on the tube a few years back... the CGI is really hard to take now. Though the 'Greetings Starfighter!!!' never gets old, and Preston was completely on his mark. Dave K -hear that you slimes! I'm famous! (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: ED-209

(...) Ah yes. RoboCop was the last great hurrah before The Abyss and Terminator 2 ushered in the computer effects era for good. So in effect, ED was the curtain call for stop-motion animation, as far as big-budget sci-fi films are concerned. And oh (...) (18 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
