  Re: Aliens Style APC

Paul, Steering like this is easy enough if you have space under the vehicle. Check out the pix showing the underside of my Wild Boar APC, in this case I was even able to incorporate suspension, but this system wouldn't work with just the four wheels (...)   Re: Microscale Building Set

(...) These new sets don't appear orderable yet. I'm guessing that when they finally become available we'll be able to find the links. Eric (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Messerschmitt Me 323

(...) Klaus, this is just beautiful! The diorama compliments the massive airframe wonderfully. I especially like the polyhedral wing. How did you achieve it, and keep the surface so uniform and tight near the joints? Now, all you troops need are (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Don't like sawtooth roofs?

I was thinking of ways to 'decorate' the underside of roofs & came up with these. I don't rember seein the snot ones before, but have seen the 'duh' one (URL) Jeff (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Messerschmitt Me 323

(...) Klaus, Simply marvelous, I saw a few pictures of your Gigant in an earlier post praising German AFOLs, and it's great to see even more of it, and the other vehicles in your diorama. It's amazing to consider that it could even fly. Thanks, (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Messerschmitt Me 323

(...) Hi Klaus, Excellent work as usual. There's far too many good bits for me to single many out but I'll try. The nose is spectacular. I really love these built up, heavily snotted slope noses which are somewhere between classic lego park (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Messerschmitt Me 323

(...) Very nice. Lots of great details. I especially like how you integrated the nose geometry into the main body of the fusulage. With the nose stud pattern angled up at about 25 degrees or so I was surprised to see how well you tied this back in (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military)

  Messerschmitt Me 323

Hello Everybody! I just wanted to present my newest airplane MOC: the Messerschmitt Me 323 Transporter. Way cool set but what I want are the cards they talk about: (...) Which of course I cannot find anywhere on the site. Anyone have any idea where I can get these? (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: q-cars

(...) These are great! I especially love the blue ladder/bucket/extender truck. It looks like it should be servicing a micro-scale power line or installing a sign over a store. (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Aliens Style APC

(...) Magnus, Thanks for the comments. You can squish 15 troops inside plus the driver and gunner in the seat shown. If you're really into the harsh reality of militaristic economics, you can get about 22, maybe 23 tops in there ;-) Cheers! ~ Paul. (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Aliens Style APC

(...) Thanks Marco! The steering front and back are not connected. Would be a great idea though and totally possible. There's enough room under the vehicle with a slightly modified floor. And plus my son likes driving the vehicle sideways with both (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jan-07, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: Aliens Style APC

(...) Tim, I used the technic wheels from set 8842 from 1986. My dad bought me that set way back then and it was a favourite because it had steering that worked and a simplistic engine with moving piston when you pushed it along the floor. (...)   Re: Aliens Style APC

(...) Wolf, Yes I toyed with the idea of making it a few studs wider originally, but the scale of the vehicle looked out of place with the wheel diameter... and those are the only wheels in my collection (from 1980's technic set ;-) that would work.   Re: Aliens Style APC

Paul, Ah, I was admiring this the other day - very nice work! How many troops does it fit on the inside? I know how hard it can be to balance functionality and scale, and I think you've done a great job. I like the slightly sloped roof and you've (...)
