  Re: Christmas Beetle

(...) Tim, Great design on this mech. I was wondering what technique you use to get the "pencil" drawings on your wallpaper? Thanks, Jim F. (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Christmas Beetle

(...) I can't help think that he should change his scale first to make some real mechbays in the accepted mainstream sizes for such creations. Bays in that small scale will be everything but artistic. And one should take the necessary precautions of (...) (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Christmas Beetle

(...) Thanks Richie. I try to spend a lot of time building and practising my skills. It helps that I like to keep my builds small and compact to really have fun squeezing the detail in. (...) (...) Oh hey, thanks, hi Peter. :) (...) ty, I made the Blue Quad after that, and I am trying to make more in that design style. Like futuristic Animal Tow Trucks, :) (...) Stay tuned!...and TY! (...) eric (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Christmas Beetle

(...) Nice work, as always Tim - you're certainly one of the most prolific mech builders of recent times! We've had the first Christmas beetles of the season flying into our house this past weekend. Nice choice of colours (your artistic license has (...) (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Christmas Beetle

Hi all, Well I've posted this on some other sites but figured maybe it would be of interest to people here. Anyway, here is my Christmas Beetle mech, with luck I'll be able to bring it the the BUGS meeting but we'll see how my luggage holds up. (2 (...)   Re: Mech Bay 14

I don't know that I'd see the Rabbit Wrecker before. I like it--it's a nice whimsical design. The bay looks cool too, but since the pictures aren't public yet I can't say a whole lot more than that. Good work! Peter (18 years ago, 20-Nov-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Interesting... that sounds like a total suicide strategy to me. I mean, that would have taken hours or days, the soldiers having their hands occupied by shovels instead of weapons all the while being bombarded by enemy fire in the complete (...)   Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

(...) Thanks, Martin. (...) That's great. I kind of do consider these King Saul and King David stories to be "the good stuff" in that they are exciting stories, full of intrigue and surprises. I've been looking forward to illustrating this stuff for (...) (18 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: 2 new micro space ships

(...) SNIP (...) Thanks, I wanted to put accommodations in miscroscale ships & be able to move the little microfig, just to see what it would look like. Jeff (18 years ago, 19-Nov-06, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - All Hail King Saul!

Hi. I can't come up with so much specific points to comment on except what has already been mentioned by others. I would just like to say that the stories seem to be up to your usual high standard and that I'm following the new stories with (...) (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Sliding Picture Puzzle

Hi Mike! That's really great. I love such puzzles and riddles built in Lego. Unfortunately my ideas on that topic are quite... ehm... nonexisting. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Barbara (18 years ago, 18-Nov-06, to lugnet.build)

Re: Turrican - Mecha meets Alien

(...) Great, I think making a larger version that uses z40's would be stronger. That is why I built the Rizmit, the Skrylitch and the Beeesh.   Re: Blue Bear

  Re: Blue Bear
