  glue LED bulb to brick

What glue will hold a LED bulb to a hole drilled in a brick? ABS glue from Ace Hardware does not stick to the bulb. (18 years ago, 13-Jun-06, to lugnet.build)

Re: 2nd Joe Vig contest entry - How Joe learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

(...) Is this is a inside joke??? You can't be serious? All I read were some valid reasons as to why a head was not the "right one" then read the "sorry, rulz is da rulz" reply. I'm just a lurker (in this forum), any maybe I'm missing the inside (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: New Custom Molded MODERN Minifig Weapons from BrickArms

(...) I take that back. I've checked my schedule and I just might make it over this year - as long as the "purists" don't give me a beatdown for being "non lego" ;) --Will Chapman • BrickArms LLC (18 years ago, 12-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: 2nd Joe Vig contest entry - How Joe learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

(...) That's a shame. I don't even use my little yellow friends [1] anymore (our train club, the TCLTC, only uses "fleshies" (unless we need to show that a fig is jaundiced;-), so email me your snail addy and I'll send you one of mine!   Re: 2nd Joe Vig contest entry - How Joe learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

(...) I figured as much, but thought it was worth a shot. I probably won't be able to get a head in time, but I'll get one for the future. Thanks for the reply, Nelson! (18 years ago, 11-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: 2nd Joe Vig contest entry - How Joe learned to stop worrying and love the bomb

(...) Sorry, Linus. Our Contest Rules specify that "The Joe Vig minifig must be made as described on The Joe Vig Page, and made clearly visible in at least 1 photo." (Rule #4). The Curators suggest that you check Bricklink for the proper minifig (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - How Jesus of Nazareth Got Kissed, Got Crucified, and Came Back to Life

(...) I would love to see this stuff get published in book form, but that will likely depend on whether sales of two more recent Brick Testament sales pick up. (...) Thanks! I do hope I'm getting better at this over time. I see a world of difference (...) (18 years ago, 11-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - How Jesus of Nazareth Got Kissed, Got Crucified, and Came Back to Life

(...) Thanks. (...) I triple checked that to be sure, but every translation I could find does indeed haves "Mary the mother of Joses". There are so many different Mary's in the Gospels that it gets quite confusing. Who is Joses? Impossible to say. (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament - How Jesus of Nazareth Got Kissed, Got Crucified, and Came Back to Life

Fine workmanship, Brendan. IS there a typo in the name of Jesus, in Crucifixion, last line of John 19:41, Mark 15:47, or is it realy the mother of another person in that verse? With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (18 years ago, 10-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: New Custom Molded MODERN Minifig Weapons from BrickArms

I'm very impressed by your work, Will...just a few potential ideas for lines of expansion, not so much specific weapons as useful parts LEGO is unlikely to ever make. Grenades. These don't have to be pineapples or anything complicated; a short (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jun-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Custom Molded MODERN Minifig Weapons from BrickArms

I was watching my Police Academy DVDs and I saw some guns to suggest. Firstly, the shotgun they use in the shotgun scene in the first Police Academy movie would be perfect IMO.
