  Next up: the transformable mecha....

This time around, I decided to experiment with my new frame further by creating a flight-type mecha similar to the Re-GZ Waverider mode.   Large-scale promo sculpture of Viking minifig

I found this on BrickShelf from someone's coverage of LEGOWORLD 2005. Looks like an official LEGO Master Builder put together this sculpture of a viking minifig as a promotion for the new line of sets. (URL) the image for an even larger version) (...)   Re: Little white shooting bot

--SNIP-- (...) That is Soren's work. I made an edge-line only render by converting the model to white and fiddling with the settings in ldview and he coloured using his colouring book techniques in Photoshop. Looks great IMO. Tim (18 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

(...) Robert, that is really nice. What I like most is that it's "rough" from using a few pieces, but was instantly recognizable. Great job. I'm glad you posted the rest of your gallery as well, there's a ton of great stuff in there that I haven't (...) (18 years ago, 5-May-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.adventurers)

Luftwaffe Prototype: Focke Wulf Ta-183 Jet Fighter

Well, I usually focus on building actual existing WW2 airplanes. But I was inspired by the Protototype Hunters (hence the posting to the adventurers group) and the wonderfull website luft46.com to do something else. So here it is: A Minifig scale (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

(...) I'd actually tend to agree :) I worked from a profile photo of a real woman... in the photo she was heavily made up (eyeliner, lipstick, etc), and it wasn't until well after I was a ways into the model that I stepped back and realized how (...)   Re: 3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"

(...) Hey Sean! Pretty nice work! Although I have to say the red one looked like a guy with a ponytail and a moustache. I was pretty surprised it was supposed to be a woman! Still, nice work! Bill Vollbrecht <www.brickcreations.com> (18 years ago, 3-May-06, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

3 life-size human busts built for Herman Miller "See magazine"
