  Brickshelf Find: Catepillar by Cometaki

Welcome back to the Mecha Show, you crazy mechaheads. Tonight's episode features a ZOIDtastically flavored creation by Cometaki: The Caterpillar. (URL) More can be seen at: (URL) some love. F (18 years ago, 30-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: new MOC: experimental mecha X6-1 "Rail"

Hey Matt. I dig what you mean by architectural. Something about those arches. It definetly does have a light feel to it and I like the colors. This gives me the impression its like a rich man's decoration mecha that he shows off to guests in the (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Red lady mosaic

(...) Wow. ...wow. WOW! I've never even thought of doing such a thing! And I wouldn't have guessed what a huge difference it would make in the implied resolution. (...) Hoh, yes! You MUST! Are you sure it's possible? (...) Ah! You rock. It makes me (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: Red lady mosaic

Okay, I just finished typing the tutorial. It's long. The first mosaics will be easy, but things will get comlicated in the end. If you have questions, I'm sure you'll know where to post them. These tutorials will be text-ONLY. It assumes you have (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  MINI Model No. 90!

Hello altogether! I'd like to announce my 90th Star Wars Mini Model. This time it's even one from Episode 1 which had slipped through until today, the Trade Federation AAT as seen during the Battle of Naboo. Here is the gallery with instructions: (...)   new MOC: experimental mecha X6-1 "Rail"

It's called an 'experimental mecha' because I didn't have a particular goal. I did intend it to be light, almost architectural. I was going for something like Soren's (URL) V siren> (I love that model!) but ended up with something... different. As a (...)   Re: Rolling Walking Rabbit Wrecker

(...) Ditto Fradel's comment on Zoids. I wonder, if a quadraped mech was actually built, would it work better with a mammal layout (like Rabbit Wrecker) or more of an insect/crustacean layout (like the Iron Mecha entries). I had that winch part at (...) (18 years ago, 29-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New Moc: Kestrel

(...) I like that bright orange/burnt orange color combination, I don't think I've seen that before. That cockpit design is also cool, a little more impact than just a solid wedge piece, although I wish the color matched. I'd suggest trying to get (...)   WW1 War Department 2 foot gauge Baldwin

I have finally finished my latest MOC, a (just larger than) Technic fig scale narrow gauge steam loco. I've written up a (URL) MOCpage> with loads of writing so probably best to go there so I don't have to say it all again. (2 URLs) I have also (...)
