  Re: Containers

Oh man, why didn't TLG do all their containers the same as 1651?? The Ccolor Line and Maersk newer promo sets use 4x12 containers. They're plug compatible, at least sort of. I use a 2x2 tile every 4 studs so a 4x8 has 2 and a 4x12 has 3. Most of the (...) (25 years ago, 13-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

Re: You wouldn't want one of these landing at your Airport!

Don't feel too bad; my Father once built outta my legos (as a kid) a big-ass (can I say ass on here?) plane that almost looked like one of those cargo planes with propellers. I think I have a photo of the model stuffed into my boxes, so if I can dig (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

You wouldn't want one of these landing at your Airport!

I was planning to build a realistic minifig scale Jumbo 747, then I figured out the dimensions of it, consequently I quit the whole project, because: A: It would be near 30 studs wide(God knows what that would be with the wings!) B: It would also be (...) (25 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town)

  Containers

I've been on and off thinking about containers (for ships, trucks, and trains). One of the things I'm wondering is if all the LEGO sets which have containers use the same dimensions?
