  Re: Small town building reference

(...) Tim, Excellent! I like your link organization (AFOL/other resources) better, and love the idea that anyone can add their own link! I did think it important, though, to credit those who provided 'other resources' links as much as possible, as (...) (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch, FTX)

Re: "He who walks behind the rows..."

(...) Pretty scary! Nice build. Is it Stephen King? Christian (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town)

  Re: several new things

(...) Thanks! I think both of the 'red car' designer sets have been great. Jeff (19 years ago, 28-Jan-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Shoelessjoe Refueled

If you missed shoelessjoe's MOCs first time around then check out the "refueled" images made in Photoshop using the original Brickshelf pictures. With shoelessjoe's approval I (hopefully) added another dimension to three impressive MOCs: The P-61 (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - The Gentleman Crab

(...) As obsessed as I am with building models that adhere strictly to the original art, I think breaking from concept designs and reinterpreting them can be a very good thing. I love the color scheme. It's just about impossible to beat tan and dark (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Centaur.

(...) That is out of the box. Lovin it. (oh ahem, I should put on the black coat) Amazing composition and smashing flavor, but will it be enough to be the top dog in IRON MECHA. Now's when it get's interesting doesn't it? Only four days left, what (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Centaur.

(...) That's quite a unique interpretation! Very nice. It looks nice and mobile, and I like the way the chunkiness of the model is reflected in the weapon. It might have been nice if you could have some articulation at the shoulder, but then I guess (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Centaur.

(...) This should win just for being so out of the box. Awesome. I'm curious where the pilot sits, too... Thumbs up! -The Chief (2 URLs) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Iron Mecha Entry - Centaur.

(...) While you've managed to give this mecha quite an organic look, I can't help but feel that you've neglected the greebles a bit too much. As it is, the mecha almost looks like an animal rather than an organic machine. Also, while you don't need (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Iron Mecha 2nd Update

(...) How about a deep woods logging mecha. Giant chainsaw for one arm, and a detention cell for the other (to cage captured environmentalists, bears, etc.), that or a missile launcher to shoot down owls, can't let any escape. :-) K (19 years ago, 27-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
