Progress pic number 3. Not a lot has changed this time, although I finally came up with a nice shape for the missile pod/shoulder armour. Heels that actually support weight are nice too. I could only stand it on carpet before these chunky heels. (2 (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  WIP update

Hello comrades. Here's a WIP of my Iron Mech, the HUA-5c Rock Lobster aka Thundersnatch. It is a heavy assualt hover mech. It was affectionally nicknamed by its operators and ground pounders for the nasty kick the enemy recieves. It may go through (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jan-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Very cool WIP photos. I love that your mecha is so deadly even the designer is in danger. Glad to see people using the ideas everyone's pouring out, especially that cool turntable.   You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!! (My Last WIP)

I didn't take Ralphie Parker's advise and have almost shot my eye out about 5 times working on the missile launcher. Adrian, You rock! So far, this is my favorite colorscheme of any of the IM's built thus far. I'm now glad I didn't use it. ;) A transforming quadra-ped is a HUGE challenge.   Participating in the Batgirl meme

Great articulation. Everything is wormed. It should be able to do some unusual poses that not even the one in the example picture could do, since its legs look like they just have the equivalent of a ball joint at the hip.
