Halloween Vig Contest Entry - Trick or Treat at the Haunted House

Here's my first entry for the Halloween Vignette Contest. As the subject says, it's called "Trick or Treat at the Haunted House." (URL) may be hard to tell on some people's computer screens, but the house is purple (I know it sometimes looks blue to (...) (19 years ago, 21-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: Vampire Bat

(...) <snip> (...) I'm glad this model is being so well recieved. I honestly didn't think too much of it. I guess for me to think a model is good it has to take me to the edge of insanity. As this one only took about 4 hours to make and I was making (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Vampire Bat

(...) That would look groovy. I'd like to make one that works like a kite. (...) I have another bird that I made way before the bat. I'll post it soon as well.   Re: Vampire Bat

(...) <snip> (...) Thanks. For years I've thought those stupid useless ninja and/or Ewok wings could make good wings; I could never figure out how to join them. Then for some reason I thought of essentially making a rectangle out of two. In (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  The Mantis Man

I recently fell in love with Mike's BrickFa armature. It's so simple, yet so complex. That armature you can see (URL) HERE>. So anyway, I felt the need to build a version of my own... a more... castley version. And how more castley can you get than (...)   Re: Power Armor Updates

(...) Thanks Kyle. I will look through Soren's gallery again. One idea from his I would like to explore is the way he did the hands on (URL) suit> But it looks like they may fall apart pretty easy. (...) Okay, if you were trolling for someone to beg you to finish and post that dropship, you found him! Please finish your dropship! Don't make me hold a fundraiser to buy you more 2x2 round tiles... (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Power Armor Updates

(...) Man, it boggles my mind every time to see what you come up with for these tiny suits. I agree with Mladen (and you, I guess) that the arms need some work. At the risk of suggesting something you'd already considered,I'd recommend checking out (...) (19 years ago, 20-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Reliable Switch Point Control with Pneumatics

Here's a reliable scheme for controlling unmodified switch points with pneumatics. This scheme is for use on track that is raised up off the baseplate in modules.   Re: Lost Tales of the Adventurers (in vignettes)

I know it's been a while since the initial post, but I just wanted to say I really liked your vignettes. Lots of good, creative ideas. I dare say, you actually brought me out of a semi-dark age and got me nicely inspired to do some Adventurers (...) (19 years ago, 19-Oct-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
