  Re: Plethora of new mocs

(...) It's hard to comment on so many ships at once- I'd suggest in the future that you group just a couple of ships at a time in your posts. The Talon is really hard to see. Black is notoriously hard to photograph, and all-black is nigh impossible (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Mos Espa Arena Grandstand

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) OTOH, here in San Francisco you just might see this situation on any given night...or in New York, TOkyo, Amsterdam, london, Paris, Sydney, etc. I agree that there isn't much humor, and there are many interpretations for the passing of money.   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) It's a little off-color, but I don't think it's too bad. I mean, the violent mishaps to which poor Joe has been subjected might likewise garner more than a PG-rating, so Stephen is just pushing the envelope in another direction. For that (...)   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

Nathan, cap yourself. I love it. It's a prime example of the sort of truly warped mindset Lugnet is all too short on. Good choice of faces and a good presentation - it goes from merely sleazy to disturbing very nicely :D. Soren (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town) !

Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) I, for one, did get a chuckle out of this. However, there are other forums where this type of humor would perhaps be more appropriate (and also more enjoyed!) :D However, what I do not like is that fact that this MOC really does not represent (...)   Re: Joe Vig Meets a Lady (A Little Risque)

(...) I...honestly...don't like it. I just don't like the idea of putting innocent Joe into "adult" situations like this. I prefer G and at the most PG rated humor for vignettes. -- Nathan Wells (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.town)

  Money Truck

On Friday my son saw a "money truck" as he now calls them. He asked me to "help" him build one... which quickly turned into him playing while I built. He wasn't concerned with how it turned out as long as it looked tough and had shocks. But in the (...) (19 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Second fair themed vignette

Hi everybody. Here is the second vignette I make. It's also the second vignette with a fun fair theme. It's a shooting stand.   Darth Maul

This is a Bionicle creation based on the Star Wars character Darth Maul. Some points of interest are the leg connections and the horns. Hello all, Here is my first posted MOC, and my third MOC overall since I started building again a year ago (my dark age ended in 2000, but I just collected stuff for the first few years.)   Photomosaic using "WoodStitches"(R)

For the last year or so I have been playing around with veneering hardwood to LEGO(R) bricks and have finally gotten the process down efficient enough that I could complete a project.   Two Joe Vig Vignettes

Two Joe Vig Vignettes First, I had this idea to make a pool table. I wanted to do a pub scene, but the pool table was too big. So I changed it to Joe Vig. Hi Deborah, This microscale town is beautiful. It really makes me want to visit the original. Probably my favorite individual detail is the little gate you made with grill pieces, but the color scheme and the overall shape is wonderful.
