Re: A smurfy place to live

(...) Anita Great job and the "Smurfs" blend in wonderfully. It brought back great memories as my Ex collects Smurfs and we used to hunt them together. Thanks for the time travel and keep up the good building. Also how about you put some comments (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Yeah, they're about 50% too big, and I realized that during the final stages of building, but I wanted them to be strong enough to (...)   Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Thanks, Marcus. I'm sorry about the confusion on my part. Anyway, your ankle design is one of the most innovative construction methods I've seen in this forum. I can see it catching on like wildfire, Thanks again. Later, Todd (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) Wonderful mecha Todd! I especially like how the colour scheme and repeated 6x6 dishes unify the whole. You achieved excellent harmony with this one. I also like the gun. :-D The hands, although ostensibly sturdy, are out of proportion with the (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: 2001

(...) Thanks! (...) I was highly inspired by your Discovery I and it's little pods, but since I had no wrenches, I had to do it with droid arms! (...) I actually had this setup built for a very, very long time. Ever since I got my first R2 way back (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha

(...) I agree with Bryce..this mech has a very clean look to it. The color scheme also looks great. I am glad to see that you were able use an idea from the frame I designed.   Re: Why not smaller & more affordable for all? was Re: LEGO Factory sets

(...) SNIP (...) I think the grouping together of designs reduced the company's risk of getting left with shelves full of the least popular one. I'm not sure how many of you buy for parts like I do, but if I were just out for sand green bricks and I (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.dear-lego, FTX)

  Lego Storytelling Workshop

Re: Space Awards at BrickFest 2005

(...) Hey guys, These are great! My fave is probably Gil's, because (URL) set 487, Space Cruiser> was my first "big" set as a child and holds a special place in my heart, and this is basically a vig version.   Re: Alternate MOC files with a challenge

(...) I have actually worked out some pretty cool micro-scale MOC's using only the Titan XP. The theme of them is War Of The Worlds - but based in London (closer to the HG Wells version, not the Tom Cruise/Speilberg version). I have been brushing up (...)   Re: "Traikon" Heavy Assault Mecha
