| (...) Orion, I feel the same way... unfortunately the posts that go only to lugnet.admin don't show up when you scan thru the posts on the main post menu. I didn't realize this until 2 days ago. There are a lot of posts over there that may not be (...) (19 years ago, 17-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

| Awesome work, Alien is one of my favorite films. Great greeblies there with the chain, boxes and machinery. I like the creepy way the Alien blends into all those details, Joe looks allot like Brett with that expression and hat. Good work. (19 years ago, 17-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Also of note is the fact that there are at least 2 variations of the tune - the commonly known version, which Olympics watchers probably heard a few times, and the one I prefer, (...) This one grew out of a desire to build some Australian trees. As to the words: I think you'll find the (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

| (...) Very cool idea for a vignette and well carried out. It expresses the feeling and atmosphere of the song really well, the beginning is peaceful and this is really well reflected in your vignette. I would love to see a series of vignettes for (...) | | | | Waltzing Matilda Vignette
|
| Hi all, Here is my first attempt at a vignette. It is a recreation of the first two lines of the famous Australian (URL) Waltzing Matilda by Banjo Patterson. For those who don't know: a swagman is a sort of rural itinerant and a billabong is a (...) (19 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

| (...) Realistically, what kid doesn't have internet access but his grandma does? I agree that not having printed instructions in a 2000-piece set is lame, but I don't think the concern above is too likely. Best, Joe (19 years ago, 16-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)
