Hmm, I just had a quick idea that may be what you're looking for, what about a ratchet system? Take a gander at what the Spyrius Robo-Guardian 6949 uses for keeping the arms in a raised position. The only reason I thought of this is that I'm in the (...) (19 years ago, 13-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

(...) As creator of the first animated vignettes, I never thought about using animated gifs to display them! (How embarrassing.) :) Since we did not specify the file format of the pictures, we will allow animated .gif files to be entered, and each (...)
