New MOCs - Special Sat. Night

New collection of MOCS..... Credit due where credit is due... Quite some time ago, Travis (elkane) linked me to his (URL) "sculpture"> and I remember telling him I HAD to copy that.... Then browsing BS I came across Plan-B's (URL) ashtray> and once (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, FTX) !!

LEGO magnets Re: MOC Chess Set

(...) I picked up some samples of these after posting my message. These are a perfect fit. The smaller magnet fits under tiles and plates with no problem, as it's just a bit shorter then a stud. And the diameter for these is a perfect fit for the (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

Hi Bill, (...) Wow I really love all the architectural details! My only nitpick is the front doors: your hotel would be perfect if you could find a "left" and a "right" door. Not sure if such doors exist in white (if any) though. Question for you - (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Paul Revere's Ride

(...) I agree with James. And, oddly enough, there IS a realistic Brick-built horse design out there that you, Bruce, could have borrowed. (URL) Alan> made this sweet horse design. You could even modify the design a wee bit to incorporate (URL) my (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Hey, It is never too late! For me I have always loved old architechure. The modern stuff has never appealed to me. Glass and concrete and steel just doesn't cut it. Give me an old movie house, lofts made from a converted warehouse, or an old (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Hey Jason, Thanks for the comments! I will take more pics soon. The back is pretty unadorned. All I have on back is a fire escape and a loading dock for the hotel. I threw this one together pretty quickly for the show and wasn't able to get (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Hey Nick, Thanks! I am going to try and get more pics, but not for a little while. Got some projects I need to devote my time to right now.... Glad you picked up on the Hotel name! Wasn't sure anybody would get the reference... When I was (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Thanks Eric, Just don't zoom in too close. I am still trying to perfect the art of photgraphing Lego. I am trying to get the lighting right since I can't use a flash. The pics don't always come out super clear.... As for the tan tooth and (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Thanks for the comments! I tried to put as much detail as possible into this. It is a different type of monster to build minifig scale as opposed to Miniland scale. Miniland scale being so much larger, you can make things super detailed. But I (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Paul Revere's Ride

I like it! Now, if Lego only made a galloping horse... James Wilson Dallas, TX (19 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)
