  Re: Autumn

(...) Nice, except in some other shots it seems our hero isn't wearing any pants? (or yellow pants, YMMV) What is it exactly they've been doing while rolling around in the leaves? No matter, spotlighted. Nice work on the trees and the atmosphere. (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: 3 More Vignettes (with one Joe Vig)

(...) I especially like the earthquake vig. It's a clever play on the vignette form with a great use of the fourth dimension. Kudos. Peace and solid ground, Professor Whateverly (URL) (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Re: Autumn

(...) While this is rather a "chick-flick" next to the (URL) "action-adventure"> and (URL) "horror"> we've been seeing recently, I find it a refreshing breath of fresh air. "A feel-good vignette for all ages" says the LL Times. Two thumbs up! Peace (...) (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: I just keep churning them out...

(...) While I think that you've captured the scene very well with that one. I find (URL) Collision Course> to be more appealing with its hint of darker stories hidden in the everyday. Keep churning.   Re: Riverdance Vignette

(...) Thanks Nathan The proto-minifig torsos are from the mid seventies, as (URL) Benjamin points out> (Thanks Benjamin), and as Bruce mentions in his excellent (URL) Evolution of the Minifig essay.> I have many that came with the sets I purchased (...)   Re: Riverdance Vignette

(...) Thanks for the blessing and you're most welcome. The Lego Michael Flatley is not even allowed in our house. Not since 'the incident'. Peace and knowing the limits, Professor Whateverly (URL) (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Some castle-related minifigs, and a method to make custom banners

Hello everyone I thought I would spotlight a few castle-related custom minifigures of mine that were recently put up on Brickshelf. These are very old MOCs, dating back at least a decade, but they've only recently had their pictures taken. I've (...)   Re: The two Drakes

Hey Mark, thanks for your feedback. (...) First I had the idea that a heavy mecha should have some escort. The next thought that came to my mind was "How small can a geared mech be?". So I gave it a try... (...) Did you think of something like this? (...) (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Alpha

(...) Thank you Mark, at the moment I enjoy building these small bots. You get a result very fast. (URL) Marco> (19 years ago, 10-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: Judge Deborah

(...) Are these the same brand/type of clones that were, IIRC, confiscated in Finland and crushed at LEGO expense? This (URL) link> has pics of the clones, and this (URL) link> has a story about the crushing. Those may not be the top of the thread (...)
