  4883 + tyre = American truck
 
Why doesn't the 4883 Gear Grinders set have 6 big tyres instead of only 5??! I'm a bit disappointed because now I had to use 1 extra tyre to build this American truck: (URL) Once moderated click (URL). I'm not sure if it has the right proportions of (...) Great project, both of you guys. It's made me think about what possibilities might lie in builder collaboration. It might be difficult to get such good results as you got, however. (20 years ago, 11-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) hi Maarten, you bring up a good point. it never occurred to me that weight would also be an issue. this now becomes a weight vs. part count efficiency problem. i'm going to have to go find the weight of the parts i'm using and do some (...) (20 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic)
