Allan, You've made some excellent trucks! I love 'em. Thanks for posting accompanying photos of the "real" trucks for comparison. Very good "likeness of..." in every case. I really like the "solid tyre" look; especially the way the solid tyre fills (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

(...) Or maybe just "camouflage," but it's not really disguising something IMHO: more like adding small details for a larger effect. Obfuscation (to me) would be adding bits to a model that make people go "and what the heck is THAT for?" :-) - Mike (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

(...) I used 6 8x8 grill plates aranged 2x3 vertically on each side. I used red bricks underneath to give the engine "glow" look.
