Re: Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

(...) Wow, I'm honored. I still have the tree you referenced built, and if you'd like I can create it in LDraw and post it, so you can look at it closer. I've also got a better camera now that I can take larger and clearer pictures with. The key, I (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

(...) Hey Timothy, Trees are tough, but key is to get the trunk can branches done and then add the foliage. That said, it would be great to see sets on this. Usually 6X6 studs is a good trunk size, but don't worry it takes alot of building and (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

Seeing a tree instead of the forest...

First, I must apologize if this question is answered someplace that I overlooked. Okay, now here is my question - does anyone out there sell kits for large trees? (URL) to that effect? I've tried several times to build my own version of those types (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Tatsumaki

(...) Wow, Marcus. You beat me to it. (I seem to write that on Lugnet a lot.) And it looks really good! I am not a mecha person -- I'm a bit too old, I guess. But my son loves giant robots, so I've been trying to build a few. I have a half-completed (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: LEGO Factory entry: 3-Wide!

(...) I have really been enjoying the Micro Mocs that have been created, but by far, the train theme ones are my favourite. I really like the detail you have added to the station, and the tracks. But I especially love the engine, looks nice and (...) (20 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory entry: 3-Wide!

(...) Cool! I hadn't seen those. I really like the technique used for the 2-wide engine. Kelly (20 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: My first MOC to go public: Butters from South Park

Great sculpture! I love that you included the throwing star in his eye. That episode is one of my favorites. Any chance you'll ever modify it into a Professor Chaos? (20 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07

(...) Right on Jass' master. You feel the funkiness. (...) The Insectoids Tech is on loan. The only clause included in the treaty was NO BRASSO. But it sounds a lot more menacing in Insectoids speak: "Errrrshooooklamorer...razooooka. Vig." (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Moonbase Module - Mech Bay 07

(...) Hey thanks, I know what you mean. I too think a nice 1/4 stick of dynamite would make a nice blithering of parts in all directions. A nice pull back pan shot, then, Bam! But taking the tour before hand is important.I guess that would be the (...) (20 years ago, 30-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
