  Re: Vignette - Admiral's Quarters

(...) Wow, thank you! This vignette is how I wish they would have done the new Pirate theme. A nice classic, old world look would have made for some really super sets, I think, not to mention being a perfect way to add some nice chrome bits to all (...)   Some new window ideas

2004/10/17 Inspired by the lattice window building of last week, I was intrigued by Joakim Olsson's sloped window idea ((URL) came up with the two following ideas, making the slopes inward instead of outward: (URL) first one is build as part of a (...) (20 years ago, 17-Oct-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: The Wanderer: a Clankbot

Lenny, I actually like the Wanderer better with the weaponry, even though the pics weren't as good. Maybe it's because the shotgun and pistols show off the arm/hand posability a little better. They also add some detail to an otherwise somewhat plain (...) (20 years ago, 17-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

The pictures aren't clear but these lattice windows... (URL) actually attached to the wall they're in. They just slide in some tracks. In fact, the top third of the window isn't attached to the bottom 2/3. Amy (20 years ago, 16-Oct-04, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: lattice windows

snip Very interesting. I am working on somthing like this myself, and got an amazing result using something like that - fences, and head light holders. For me that seems to be the best solution.   Re: Closing airlocks

(...) Unfortunately, I don't have any 1/4 cylinders, and have no means to get any (I'm banned from buying any more Lego (apparently I have plenty already)). (...) I'm returning from my self-imposed exile just to say how awesome this moc is. If it was on the shelf at a store, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. It's better than 90% of the dreck I was looking at in TLG's Winter catalog last night. Great job! - (...) (20 years ago, 15-Oct-04, to lugnet.build)
