My biggest complaint about the focus (and my only gripe about the Mavica) is that the pixelated screen on the back of the camera is insufficient in (...) | Dude, you rock! These, as usual for you, are great. (...) Try more light and multiple light-sources. Something I've had some limited success in photographing scale models with is using the cheap-o aluminum reflectors with photo bulbs in them -- (...) | (...) Looks like you are working under lighting conditions too dark. Try a brighter light source or adding a couple more less-bright light sources.
