  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

(...) I don't know very much about building webpages so I use Geocities because they are free. If anyone else is having trouble viewing the page or there are errors on it, you can look at my brickshelf gallery. It has the exact same photos. (URL) (...) (...) I'd have to agree with that. Yer micro stuff has been a big influence on getting me into doing micro. I created the castle awards for BrickFest based on your designs. (URL) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

(...) As for your other creations, it seems the Geocities pages has been looked at too much, but I'll try again later. I had a look quite a while ago, and built my own copy of your Viking ship (In fact I built for more than a week, Castle, ship, (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Dodecahedron

(...) Sadly, not very-- If I had enough spare 1x2 plate w/ center studs (it took 120), I could probably make it sturdier pretty easily, but as is it's kinda fragile. Also, if you made it larger (like 15 wedge plates per pentagon instead of 10), (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

These are awesome micros. I've seen so many micros in the Sci-Fi theme; it was great to see what you did with the castle theme. GREAT JOB Justin! Mark (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Justin-- I love it! I'm quite a fan of quarter-classic scale, so it's always gratifying to see people build at that scale, but it's a double pleasure when the creations are so well executed! --Muze (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: Microscale Saskatchewan Parliament Building

(...) My thoughts were to do all of them, more or less to scale. I have collected a good assembly and images from the web, plus a few invaluable floor plans. I thought of e-mailing the various locations and asking for floor plans, but figures I'd (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

I haven't seen your work before, but I'm very impressed with it! I really like the "large scale" layout you have of the village with the keep, the ships, and the waterfall in the background. Every little set is designed with such detail in mind ... (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Re: "Juggernaut" Medium Assault Mecha

BTW, athough I have'nt bought the Titan XP, from looking at the pics that I've seen so far, it likely owes what stability it has to the built-in "limiters" behind (...) (...) Justin, Excellent!! I recently created a (relatively) 2-D model of the same (e.g 1xX), but have not had a chance to post it yet. Great job in the micro scale!! Nelson (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

  Re: Micro: Black Seas Barracuda

That's spectacular! You've done a great job of capturing the spirit of the vessel without it appearing blocky. It's amazing that even the thick sails don't actually "look" thick! Very nice! Ashley (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.microscale)

  Dodecahedron

I was playing around this weekend, and noticed a nifty way to form a nearly perfect pentagon. At first I sorta passed it off as merely neat, and little else. However, I also started thinking about how it would look as a dodecahedron (everyone's (...) (20 years ago, 10-Sep-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build) !
