  Re: Motorhome Ideas

(...) "looks just like a large brick on wheels". You may have *already* captured the spirit of the old motorhomes. Actually, I think I saw pictures of a motorhome with fake brick paneling covering the outside. Life imitates art... Steve (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

In lugnet.space, Ken Takeuchi writes: [...] (...) Ken -- I just bought software called "Bricks" from Knowledge Adventure. (It used to be called "Gryphon Bricks").   Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

Boy, a scanner like that would sure be something! That would save *everyone* a ton of time. 8) As for your Mac. At this point there really isn't any software for that platform. Hmm...seems like a large part of the LUGNET audience is being neglected. (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Extraordinary style + details in a spaceship

(...) To record my models as a CAD data takes time... Especially when the model is as large as the spaceship model. If I had a time to digitize the previous models, I rather like to use it to create more new models. I wish for a super x-ray scanner (...)   Re: A new contest

Why is it that you are always announcing new contests and challenges, but we never see any results from them? Fredrik (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  A new contest

I am holding a contest to design a millenium falcon. The only rule is that it must use the UFO quarter saucer hulls at the top (anu of the hulls you have in any color will do), like the TLG design. I want to see if anyone can come up with a better (...) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general, lugnet.starwars)

  Gungan Sub Alternate Model

I invite you all to see one of my more recent creations. It's an Episode I Gungan Sub alternate, using only the pieces from that model: (URL) let me know what you think! Greg Majewski (URL) (25 years ago, 8-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Motorhome Ideas

Bumper stickers ;-) Roadkill markings on the front driver's fender ;-) Don't forget to make a KOA sticker. Many of the older motorhomes had a short rail all the way around the top so that you could stack stuff up there. 1x4x1 lattice fences would (...) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)

  Re: dino-craigo-lego

Craig Dinosaurs ARE my cup of tea and you've ingeniously captured the majesty of these "thunder lizards". I like your imaginative use of parts and colours. Oh and very Stravinskyesque. The stegosaurus is especially inspirational... Henry (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

  Motorhome Ideas

I've come up with an idea on building a full sized camper, sort of like the old Holiday Rambler motorhomes. I've got the inside pretty much finished but the outside looks just like a large brick on wheels. I plan on adding a side awning and a bike (...) (25 years ago, 7-Feb-00, to lugnet.build)
