Re: first MOC: house with loft

(...) Well, Joe, it sounds like your wife was happy, so there's one good review! Your MOC is simple (not saying bad...after all there is KISS: the Keep It Simple, Stupid rule, right?). It looks well planned out, the colors are good--you took the (...) (20 years ago, 11-Aug-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

New here, wanted to share my stuff

Hi everyone, my name is Paul and I have been building since I was 3. I'm 19 and am majoring in architecture right now at Pratt Institute, but maybe one day I'll apply for a job at LEGO; who knows. Anyway I have a site up at (URL) I have my work (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Power Armor

(...) Thanks for the comments, David. I just browsed through your Brickshelf gallery and took a look at your takes on power armor, as well as the dropship. I'm thinking about doing a whole team of my power armor design, and making them a dropship (...) (20 years ago, 17-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament begins the Book of Joshua

What up, Len! (...) That *is* a strange shadow. But there's no photoshoppery going on there. I looked through my whole collection to figure how best to make a "scarlet cord". My best solution was to have the spy holding two hot dogs at such an angle (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Power Armor

(...) Hey Kyle, nice one. I like the way you did the torso with different shape tiles. That pulse laser gun fits with the MOC. The color scheme is also well done. I always enjoy your MOCS Kyle. Keep them coming. David (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

New Warbird: 2 versions of the Messerschmidt BF110 MOC

So, The first multi-seat warbird has made it into my brickshelf gallery: The famous Messerschmidt BF 110. I created 2 versions of this plane, The first is a BF 110C fighter/bomber in desert camouflage colours. The other is a late production BF 110G (...)   New mosaic : 10,000 piece self portrait

Hi, everybody! I hope you were all off having fun playing at BrickFest this weekend... (so sad I couldn't make it!) :( This weekend I built a 10,000 piece mosaic of my Fiancee and I. After about 10 hours of building and two callused thumbs later, (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

  Re: Power Armor

(...) Thanks for the feedback, John. Sorry the ankle view wasn't clear. The foot swivels (toes in and out) at a single-stud connection to a headlight brick in the lower leg. That connection is to the top of a two-stud hinge brick, which lets the toe (...) (20 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
