  Re: MOC: Motorized Cows

(...) snip (...) Wow Eric, Spotlighted! That is SO totally cool!!! I showed my kids and they were amazed, as am I. Truly, imho, it's MOCs like that, that will make HO modelers think twice about the "limitations of the brick". Way to go! Nicely (...)   Re: 4403 MOC: Scarab hover vehicle

(...) Spotlighted, and well deserved. I love alt models made from official sets. It forces strong creative decisions to be made and you made them well. Are you someone who might turn this model into some building instructions for those of us who (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Motorized Cows

(...) That's exceedingly cool. But since I don't have an RCX, it makes me wonder whether something similar could be done without it. Perhaps a small lever that's pressed by the train as it goes past, which is connected by a hidden string to the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Motorized Cows

(...) So simple and so very cool! That is a great piece of eye candy for a train layout, super job! jt (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Motorized Cows

(...) Thanks :) (...) Well, the only limit I see is from the power of the RCX and/or its number of outputs. You can easely modify the programm, by example in order to add sensors or outputs to control 3 or more cows. For my part, I have only two (...)   Re: 4403 MOC: Scarab hover vehicle

Really nice Moc. The nose reminds me of my MG3k... If you're interested in feedback, I'd suggest that you remove the 1x3 bricks from the wings and move the black "guns" up in front of the 75 degree slopes to break the otherwise flat (unaerodynamic) (...)   Re: MOC: Motorized Cows

(...) This is officially the coolest MOC I have ever seen. Other than space and brick constraints, is there a limit to the number of cows you could rig this way? And is it possible to vary the rate of motion slightly between animals? In any case, (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: 4403 MOC: Scarab hover vehicle

  Re: The 4511 Mechsperiment

(...) Thank you sir, that is nice of you to say. Those darn Mechers, see what they have done! (...) Yes, two days. But it wasn't easy. The sheer number of combinations you can get with all left monkey arms slowed it up a bit. After that it was no (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: The 4511 Mechsperiment

(...) Oh ya the snowshoes, I forgot to mention I used those from the Monkey Sets. Its not a Train Head, its a Mech Head. ;) I'm about a 1x1 away from a "Mechasylum". e (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: 4403 MOC: Scarab hover vehicle

(...) I'd say you succeeded! I'm always impressed when people build cool MOCs using only the parts from one set. --Bram (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The 4511 Mechsperiment

(...) Thanks Kevin, no this is my first Mecha, it was fun, but really I don't know what those Mech guys see in this stuff. (...) LOL! All of that then he said 2 2" hoses! LOL! (...) Oh no, those came in the Battrax. But I had to add 69 monkey arms (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Green M&M Mosaic

Hi, Please check out my latest mosaic creation. This a “studs-out” rendering of the "Green M&M" candy character. This was created as a surprise birthday gift for the LEGO and M&M loving husband of my customer. This mosaic is 20" x 20" (4096 1x1 (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Bot Forges

(...) WOW! Yah, that's about the only word for it, Wow! Perfectly sized for the bots you have made and for minifigs. Someone else said that it doesn't even look lego, I agree. It's so well designed and tightly put together. No piece there can be (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Bot Forges

(...) Very cool indeed. I want to have one and hold one for my very own. If you're doing any more, I think a bot destruct test bay would be neat. Allister (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The 4511 Mechsperiment

  Re: Eastern Block Mecha

(...) I bought a Scorpion Palace recently at deep discount, and the elephant reminded me of a mech I saw on Brickshelf that used the body parts this way. I'm buggered if I can remember who's it was though. Allister (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My new creation + my life story.

  4403 MOC: Scarab hover vehicle

Well after seeing so many cool civilian space vehicles I couldn't resist of trying to build one myself. Inspired by those models I took the 4403 airblazers set and started building. I tried to build a slick model using some serious SNOT methods for (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.loc.nl, lugnet.space, FTX)
