  Re: Ministry Of Information Retrieval

(...) As usual, thanks for building and for posting! It's so detailed, so smooth, so well executed it almost doesn't look like Lego. I wish I could be the Iron Reich's mech subcontractor, but I doubt the State would be trusting enough to outsource (...) (20 years ago, 1-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Official display in Japan

(...) Hi Bbruce, Thanks for sharing! Alas, my Japanese isn't that good as well, but there are some huge buildings! Very jealous e.g. for this giant pyramid. The Middle Age city is gigantic. Very lovely structures indeed. Daan Bargerbos (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle)

(...) The angles....THE ANGLES!! How you think on such a macro scale amazes....it has all the hallmarks of a clean, smaller creation, yet is a tabletop filler. So ubercool. All the things the other folks have said, but one more....da boat, man...da (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Hi all, Surfing around, I found this site. I don't read Japanese at all, but this appears to be from some sort of TLC display. Lots of awesome MOCs in ancient and castles themes: (URL) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle) !

  Re: Summer's Bridge Study 15

(...) Thanks. I was hoping to bring it to BrickFest but it looks like I'll be bringing a "chopped" height version instead (this one's 120 lbs. on the scales). Speaking of BrickFest, I still don't see the Master of Mech on the "who's attending" (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Some microfig inspiration from 1981

Here's some microfig stuff from [LEGOSet 2261] when cool stuff had to be made with simple parts. Hopefully, this might give some inspiration for the Brickfest Micro MOC Off. (5 URLs) I'm sure there are plenty more good examples in other old idea (...) (20 years ago, 30-Jun-04, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)
