another small house (a la David Eaton's Teeny Shack)

I also tried to make a window with brown shutters (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

Too much trouble to thread monofilament thru the chain... if I'm gonna use a non-lego element (the filament)... I'll use it as simply as possible (w/o the chain). Plus the thread chain would not mesh well with the gears. eric (...) ---...--- Eric (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

  Re: LEGO grandfather clock

Eric, I can only echo the sentiments of the masses and say..."WOW!" Well, OK...maybe I can add a pointer too. Eric Harshbarger <eric@ericharshbarger.org> wrote in article <388763A0.80858BCE@e...er.org>... (...) I'm having trouble seeing the pictures of your clock.   Re: LEGO grandfather clock

Mr. Harshbarger Uh. I'm awely amazed. This is such a magnificent blend of engineering and art. You've mustered the mastery of the finest potential provided by what mere mortals would call "just LEGO". It looks nice and works. It's rare that the two (...)
