  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) Hello Chris I didn't know that you were into that era as well. Think that most of your other creations are more temporary. Any more coming? I like your helicopter, it goes really well sizewise with the vehicles. And thank you for the (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  the blue menace

i'm not sure why, but i can't seem to reply to the original blue message thread, so i'll create a new one. not bad, nik. not bad at all. that spider thing does look kind of wierd. it is very creative to say the least. likewise, your hardsuit seems (...)   Re: About a gate and a cross... oh and some new pictures of a temple

(...) I know Casper very good, and you know, it's not HIS fault that he doesn't build enough ancient-work... it's Lego's!?? :-) ?? Yes! If you look close to the details you spot the use of many, MANY jumperplates and tiles (normal grey of course). (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: Flettner FL282 Kolibri

(...) Thanks for your comments Jan-Albert. There's nothing better for me as a builder than someone actually recognising the inspiration for a LEGO creation - that just made my day! As for a diorama? Yep, sounds like a good idea - I'll have to think (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build.military)

P38 entry & other new MOCs

I built several MOCs over the last couple weeks, & here they are. First off, a P38 space contest entry. this started as a test to make a relatively sleek, all-enclosed cockpit from the 4098 High Fliers set, (thus the name HF38). the twin tails (...) Brilliant work Casper, Portunis has always been one of my favorite mocs, and the new pics make me appreciate the details even more. The temple looks great from every angle. The only problem I have with you, is that you don't build enough! -Keith (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) before i break my creations, i bring them into work to show my students (i'm a teacher) so at least i get a chance to share the beauty of this hobby. they (aged 4-12) are in awe of the brick and i hope i incite them to build something, (...)   Re: more mocs - cliffhouse, museum

(...) <snip> (...) Some more beautiful MOC's again. The Cliffhouse is beautiful. Makes me want to build something just to include a waterfall. That waterfall is awesome. I can see why you'd have to tear it down. That's a lot of window packs. And (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.general)

  Re: Ah, that feels better...

(...) LOL! I've seen some other potty MOCs before, this is a good Miniland style rendition. Although you might want to be careful about impugning inferior brick-producing companies... a friend of mine was threatened (ineptly) with legal action by a (...) In lugnet.announce.moc, Deborah Higdon wrote some cool stuff, then signed it: (...)
