Re: LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

Hi everyone, For some time now, a group of us have been discussing the concept of a LEGO site that the community could truly call its own-- community owned, designed, and operated. To this end, we have been endeavoring for more than half a year to (...) (...) much aprpeciated, my friend. i think it's my best mecha yet (definately the longest to make), though some might disagree. i would like to build the eva-00 yellow and the eva-02 in the future, but currently i am working on the launch frame. (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks Chris. Proportion is something I try very hard in my designs and I think that more mechs could benefit from a little exaggeration. Jeff (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Thanks Jason. I wasn't sure if I should add another major color in there just to break it up and make it more interesting. But you like it so I guess it worked. I was looking at the click hinge wing groin piece and I think that it adds a nice (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Uh and thanks for the suggestions. I might do a real Mega Deus in the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Awesome Jeff. Love the exaggerated proportions - those slopes work so well for going from the very small to the very large. -Chris (21 years ago, 11-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: White Mega-Deus

(...) welcome to the other side of lego! dude, you were born to build mecha with brick! i must say, i wasn't too impressed with your first brick mecha--the clear one-- but then again, i understand that the parts are limited. but this white deus (...) (...) Geeze jeff your cameras acting up again!? Faulty flash card? Faulty camera? Anyways, awesome mega deus (even though im not a big fan of Big O) The feet are gigantic, which definitely captures the megadeus look. The upper legs are a little (...)   Re: White Mega-Deus

(...) Ground breaking or not, it's beautiful to look at. The proportions are spot on from top to toe. The printing on the shins detracts very slightly from the smooth stylish look, but who am I to judge having done the same thing myself. Excellent (...)
