  Re: Optical Illusions

Nice, I remember looking at some optical illusions before. Nice to see 'em in LEGO. I'd write more, but I can't focus ;) -Anne (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Pneumatic Quadraped 242

(...) snip (...) I started working on articulated head and tail. Quad242 has a very large footprint, and walks inefficiently. One of the reasons for large feet is center of gravity. The center of gravity on Quad242 is just a little behind the center (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.build, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

  Re: Alien-style minifig

(...) Neat! I like the hammerhead look of the warrior. I think they would look nice in blue or green. Thanks for the idea. Marc Nelson Jr. (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: Crimson Skies - Laramie B122

(...) This is a really nice build, Nick. Using the drk grey plates to frame the light grey ones gives the wings a great depth. And I have to say that those vintage-looking heavy bombs are...well...the bomb. Just wondering...why is that plate (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Sandtrooper Mods

So I bought the Cantina set and decided to clone the Sandtrooper with some mods for the backpack. (2 URLs) Regards, ACPin & Sons (21 years ago, 1-Dec-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.minifigs, FTX)

  Alien-style minifig

Technic and Town combine to create Space. Isn't that an interesting blend... I present: an Alien (kind of). (URL) head design can be widely adapted and has an amazing range of interesting possibilities. For instance, a warrior: (URL) how about a (...)   SciBrick is Online! And looking for people...

Hi all, Many of those in LUGNET have wondered what was up with SciBrick...the organization had a few postings on its discussion board, there was a debut event in Houston, then...nothing. Since Houston's Challenger Center Gala, which happened in (...)   Blackhawk finished.. this time definitely!

Hi I feel the need to "exorcise" a MOC that has been the result of a busy period with little time for creation but a few snatched moments of tinkering. How many of you out there build something and then rebuild tens of times? I am guessing quite a (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Optical Illusions

(...) Amazing how strong these illusions are! I wonder if they appear just as vivid when you build these with real bricks. Can you reveal what your inspiration source for these optical tricks was? With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (21 years ago, 30-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

Re: Crimson Skies - Laramie B122

(...) Very cool. I especially like the modularity and the design of the large bombs. And as the GA notes, the "W" from M-Tron is inspired. Was that coincidence, or did you decide on a Wyoming theme based on that element (and the fact that Wyoming (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

(...) (snip) Way cool, Nick. I like the wing shape you have created. I also like how you have used the M-Tron logo upside down as a W. The folding landing gears look great. -Grand Admiral .space Curator (URL) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-03, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Crimson Skies - Laramie B122

By 1939, the independent city-states of Wyoming had formed an alliance to preserve their independence and defend their land from other nations making claims. By 1941, they had several protypical aircraft in their skyways and abroad, protecting their (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, FTX)
