(...) The capital is the top of the column. It looks kind of like a bracket where 1x2 plate has two side thingies offset at an angle, plus round plates on those.. never used it before, I'm guessing at what I'm seeing there. (22 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

I can understand the logic behind the visor design, and maybe even the reason for having just the front of the torso armored...but what the heck was the purpose of the large protrusion on the back of these guys' helmets? A few weeks ago i sprung an idea to do a mecha idea similar to moonbase using modular mecha parts. Well, here are some parts i made, using my Argos mech as a base i built a new set of arms, 2 new sets of legs, and a new head. I also put together 2 (...) (...) Sure. Those are actually 1x2 red tiles attached to two black 1x1 headlight bricks. I used black so that I could get a bit more contrast. (...) Oh that is a cool photo.
